Ingredients:

2 lbs chicken wings

2 cups all-purpose flour

Salt and pepper to taste

1/2 cup soy sauce

1/4 cup water

2 tablespoons sweet rice wine (mirin)

1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon brown sugar

1/2 teaspoon minced garlic

1/2 teaspoon minced ginger

1 tablespoon cornstarch dissolved in 1/4 cup water


For the Rice:

1 cup white rice

2 cups water

Salt to taste


Instructions:

1. Prep the Wings:

   Pat the wings dry and season with salt and pepper.

   Coat them evenly in flour and cornstarch.

2. Fry the Wings:
